Media Specialist

The Media Specialist position will be a member of our Media team. This position is for a full-time salary role based in our Boston office and is responsible for assisting a wide range of Media work. The role will be to assist all media needs for our clients and our company. Work may be done from our Boston office or on-location for a project. You will be expected to work at least 40-hours a week, which may entail working weekends and irregular hours. The ability to travel for this position will be required. This role requires a high level of creative and technical capabilities. The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Manage and assist in various Media projects.
  • Manage all aspects of on-location and studio productions.
  • Handle post-production work for video, photography, and Marketing.
  • Understand live transmission capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Communicate and correspond with your Manager, Clients, and Suppliers.
  • Testing, building, and gathering equipment for various productions.
  • Assist the Manager(s) with all projects/tasks.
  • Travel is required based on projects.

 

Required

  • Background and expertise as a videographer and photographer.
  • Background with various media production roles.
  • with post-production, video editing, experience with Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
  • Great understanding of IT and computers.
  • An individual that is; organized, flexible, multitasker, and problem-solving.
  • An individual that is self-motivated and thrives in both small and large teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to get along with colleagues and clients.
  • A positive and dependable individual.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
Editor

The Editor position will be a member of our Media team. This position is for a full-time salary role based in our Boston office and is responsible for assisting a wide range of Media work. The role will be to assist all media needs for our clients and our company. Work may be done from our Boston office or on-location for a project. You will be expected to work 40-hours a week, which may entail working weekends and irregular hours. The ability to travel for this position will be required, but it is not expected to be regular. This role requires a high level of creative and technical capabilities. The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Create compelling content for short/long-form, promotional, and marketing content for clients.
  • Enhance content through editing, color grading, motion graphics, and sound editing.
  • Collaborate and contribute throughout the entire production lifecycle.
  • Manage all aspects of the post-production process.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and update systems.
  • Communicate and correspond with your Manager, Clients, and Suppliers.
  • Researching, testing, and building equipment for production workflows.
  • Train colleagues on all aspects of post-production.
  • Manage and assist in various Media projects.
  • Assist the Manager(s) with all projects/tasks related to productions and the studio.
  • Assist the Manager(s) with all Operational tasks.

 

Required

 

  • Background and expertise as an Editor, Motion Designer is a plus.
  • Background with various media production roles.
  • Background in post-production, video editing, expertise with Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and Davinci Resolve.
  • Great understanding of IT, computers, and file formats.
  • An individual that is; organized, flexible, multitasker, and problem-solving.
  • An individual that is self-motivated and thrives in both small and large teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to get along with colleagues and clients.
  • A positive and dependable individual.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
Graphic Designer & Animator

The Graphic Designer and Animator position will be a member of our Media team. This position is for a full-time salary role based in our Boston office and is responsible for assisting a wide range of Media work. The role will be to assist all media needs for our clients and our company. Work may be done from our Boston office or on-location for a project. You will be expected to work at least 40-hours a week, which may entail working weekends and irregular hours. The ability to travel for this position will be required, but travel isn’t expected to be a normal occurrence. This role requires a high level of creative and technical capabilities. Submission of your portfolio is highly recommended. The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Manage and assist in various Media projects.
  • Manage and direct projects from concept to completion in a timely manner and apply best practices in layout, color theory, composition, typography, and graphic design.
  • Transform raw data, concepts, and provided content into concise and meaningful visuals.
  • Create inspiring design that will be featured in various creative projects, brand identity, print, and web/mobile.
  • Handle animation work for video, photography, and Marketing projects.
  • Ensure client brands are represented best across all projects.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Communicate and correspond with your Manager, Clients, and Suppliers.
  • Assist the Manager(s) with all projects/tasks.
  • Travel is required based on projects.

 

Required

 

  • Background and expertise as a graphic designer and animator.
  • and experience with software in the realm of graphic design. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, expertise is required in Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
  • Great understanding of IT, computers, and file types.
  • An individual that is; organized, flexible, multitasker, and problem-solving.
  • An individual that is self-motivated and thrives in both small and large teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to get along with colleagues and clients.
